Sload
[Sload, 124x120(5kb)] Slug like creatures dwelling in the corel kingdom of Thras, a set of islands southwest of the Chain in the Abecean Sea. The Sload released the Thrassian Plague in 1E 2200 which killed more than half of the population of Tamriel. This resulted in Bendu Olo, the Colovian king of Anvil, leading the All Flags Navy destroying the Sload and sinking the islands.

The Sload begin as small amorphous grubs which mature to soft octopus like creatures which cannot yet reside on the land. As they mature to adults they enlarge and the older adults can be seen on land. There is no known age to their age or size. Younger adults are rarely seen on land due to their lack of land survival skills and older adults due to their frequenct collasping under their own weight. The Sload excel as merchants due to a common trait of greed. They have a perfect memory, remembering everything they see or hear which makes up for the fact that they cannot read or write. They are quite adept at magic and almost all Sload know the Recall spell as a minimum, using it frequently to aid their travels on land as well as a their best defense. The Sload has very limited grasping ability with its short arms, explaining its inability to write, and they have poor use of other hand tools. Sload can adapt their outer body to fit the surface and surrounding objects, allowing them to pick up things and move much like a slug. They are slow, but delibrate creatures, who tend to think much more quickly than it appears. They could answer questions quickly if they so choose to, which they rarely do.

Sload are very cautious creatures due to their delibrate mannerisms. They have no word in their language for adventure with their closest equivalent meaning tragic disaster. All Sload heroes are known for sitting around for years and years, thinking and consulting with other wise Sload until a decision is reached and they act, which always succeeds. Conversly, their heroic villans tend to act quickly and always fail. Unfortunately, most Sload seem to be very self-interested and only that and do not appear to display any familiar human emotions. They have little thought about performing hideous deeds and break the law whenever it fits their purpose. The adult does not apparently reproduce and shows no interest in the fate of its offspring.

Spider
[Giant Spider, 147x66 (2kb)] The giant spider is a dangerous foe, not only for its damaging attack, but as it can also paralyze its victim so it can feed on them later.

It attacks with both arms as well as its teeth and has a surprisingly fast regeneration rate which results in adventurers often having to kill it several times before it stays dead.
