Detailed WalkthroughEdit
The Missing ArchaeologistEdit
Speak to the quest giver, who says:
- "(Player's guild title), one of our clerics, a (cleric's description) named (cleric's name) has disappeared while on an archeological [sic] dig. Will you help us find (him/her)?"
or
- "I fear that one of our noblest scholars, (cleric's name) has disappeared while investigating an old ruined temple. Will you help us find (him/her)?"
AcceptEdit
The quest giver goes on:
- "That's good, good. Now then, (cleric's name) went to (dungeon) close to a fortnight ago to conduct a dig. It's possible that all is well, but ... I'll give you (time limit) days to go there, find (cleric's name) and come back. (Temple's god) walk with you, (player's guild rank). Fare well."
DeclineEdit
The quest giver answers:
- "That's a rather callous point of view to be quite frank, (player's first name)."
Saving the ScholarEdit
This quest is yet another standard dungeon crawl. Head to the dungeon mentioned by the quest giver and find the cleric within. Once you do, speak to the cleric and hear:
- "Goodness, you gave me quite a start, young (player's race). Have I really been down here for so long? How time does fly. Well, if you would be so kind as to escort me back to the temple, my good (player's first name) ..."
or
- "Thank (random god) you came. I've been searching for the way out for close to a week. I'll follow you back to the temple."
The scholar will now be following you. Return to the Temple and speak to the quest giver within the time limit to successfully complete the quest.
RewardEdit
When you bring the cleric back, the quest giver says:
- "Ah, (player's guild rank) and good (cleric's name), it is good to have you back in (current town) again. I had feared the worst, to be honest."
If you find the cleric but the time limit expires before you can return to the Temple, the cleric will leave, saying:
- "Ah, I know the way from here," (Cleric's name) totters off.

If you successfully complete the quest, the quest giver may later greet you with:
- "For what you did for (cleric's name), of course I'll help you, (player's first name)."
If you failed the quest, the quest giver will greet you with:
- "I still remember (cleric's name), (player's first name). Leave me."
