The Order of the Albatross was a Breton Knightly Order active in the Systres Archipelago in the Second Era. They were one of three orders that participated in the Sapphire Tourney on High Isle.[1]
These swashbuckling warriors were often singers or bards but they also tended to engage in piracy.[2] Fontenot Leila founded the order to give those children of nobility who could not look forward to their parent's inheritance a means of securing their own legacies. Their numbers, both in active knights and percentage of Nirn explored, greatly exceeded that of other knightly orders based in the archipelago. This was made possible by the order's focus on adventure, discovery, and daring feats, which drew initiates from the mainland.[3].
