War-Sworn is a powerful sword imbued with an enchantment that rejects any wielder, save the chosen champion of the Celestial Warrior.[1] It has been wielded by the champions of the Celestial Warrior through the centuries and is capable of restoring lost memories.[2][3][4] The blades' energy can be felt by merely holding it.[4]
HistoryEdit
Originally, War-Sworn belonged to the Celestial Warrior himself, but was later wielded by his greatest champions. By 2E 582, it was "without a true consort" for a very long time. It was owned by Skarath of the Many, an Iron Orc, who carried it like a trophy, despite being unable to wield it. The Vestige was requested by the Celestial Warrior himself to retrieve the blade and offer it to the Warrior's champion, Titus Valerius.
The Vestige slew the Orc and delivered the blade to Titus. The blade restored his memories and brought him back to his true self. It called to him, just as the Celestial Warrior had done in the past. He accepted the blade and gave the Vestige his old weapon, as an act of friendship and a memento to remember him by. This allowed the Celestial Warrior to return Titus back to his time. The blade traveled with Titus and served him well. Titus, after being returned to his time with War-Sworn, became known as one of the greatest warriors to walk the surface of Tamriel.[2][3][4]
