Duma gro-Lag is an Orcish sculptor who lives in Ghorak Manor in Caldera. He can be found on the upper floor of the manor. He has a passion for sculpting, even though nobody seems to appreciate his talents. Duma is the person you have to go to in order to build Boethiah's Shrine. During the quest, the Orc will head to Khartag Point to work on the shrine, where he will remain indefinitely, even after completing his work.
He wears a common shirt with matching shoes and ring and some expensive pants. He also carries a lute. Like all Orcs, he has a natural resistance to magicka, and can boost his health, fatigue and attack for short periods, at the cost of agility; otherwise he knows no spells.

Quest-Related EventsEdit
You can find Duma gro-Lag standing next to his ongoing artistic project near the top of Ghorak Manor in Caldera. Speak to the Orc to learn that he is a suitable candidate to help you rebuild the Shrine of Boethiah:
- "What do you want?"
- sculptor
- "Me? Well, I have done a few pieces. Mostly, Ghorak just throw them really far. You interested in buying a piece? I'm working on one now... for now, I call "Untitled rock.""
- I wish for you to recreate the Shrine of Boethiah.
- "Me do big statue? Hmmm... could be good. Ghorak not throw that far at all! Tell you what -- I make you statue. Need money, though, for material. Need 2,000 septims for everything. And need plans. How I supposed to make big statue just like old one and not know what old one look like? Must be statue book somewhere tell me how to make shrine! Find me plans and gold, and I make your statue. Meantime, I find a good place to build it."
- No, I'm not interested in your work.
- "No? Okay, you come back if you want "Untitled Rock," though."
After enlisting him as the creator of the new Shrine of Boethiah, you can ask him some questions about himself and the book that he needs before you head off to collect the objects that he requires:
- statue book
- "I don't know what it called! Book with statue picture in it. Description of shrine. That kind of stuff. Ask book guys. They got lots of books. One must have right stuff."
- sculptor
- "Come back when you got the stuff I need."
Once you have the funds and book that he has requested, return to him to learn that he has kept his part of the bargain thus far and has found a suitable place to rereate the shrine:
- sculptor
- [2000 Gold has been removed from your inventory and Boethiah's Glory has been removed from your inventory.] "You got the stuff? Good, give it here. Okay, I found a place. Nice and away from stuff. Take me a few weeks, though. Gotta get some assistant sculpturists to help me out. Not easy to find, you know? Anyhow, it be done in not too long. I gonna build it at Khartag Point up on coast from here. Up north. You can't miss. It real big."
- Khartag Point
- Shrine of Boethiah
- "Gonna go work soon. Leave me alone so I can think about shrine! Gonna build it up the coast. Should be good."
- statue book
- "I got the book. Good pictures and words and stuff."
Should you find yourself in the vicinity of Khartag Point during the period of three weeks that it takes Duma gro-Lag to finish his there, you can drop by to gain some valuable insights into the process that will eventually lead to the erection of such a grant structure:
- "What you need now?"
- Shrine of Boethiah
- "Not done yet. Soon, though. You go away and let me work now. Can't work with people watching. Sometimes I don't even watch. Big rock, you know."
- Khartag Point
- "Yup, here we are at Khartag Point. Good place here. Lots of good rocks. Might stay here for a while."
After he has finished building the new Shrine of Boethiah, you can speak with him to revel in his nigh immeasurable eloquence for one last time and to advance the quest:
- "Okay, statue all built. Hope you have fun with new one. Shame to get rid of old Khartag Rock, but it cause some problems anyway. Big rock."
- Shrine of Boethiah
- "Shrine got built. Big shrine. Not bad work, I think myself did one real good job. I a legend in my own shrine."
