Minor skills questionEdit

Page says that minor skills give 12.5% less xp than major ones. That doesn't seem like a very big deal so I wanted to make sure it means what it says. Is it in fact 12.5% "less" or 12.5% "of" (which would be 87.5% less)? Rmaine (talk) 18:28, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

My understanding is that it is indeed just 12.5% slower levelling, barely any difference between them. Samantha Says (talk) 18:48, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
Thanks for the clarification. The wording that emphasized how the major ones made for faster leveling up made me wonder in that, while true, I wouldn't have thought that small a difference worth calling out like that. Rmaine (talk) 21:09, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

Clarify what XP is being referenced here?Edit

This line:

"All skills now contribute to increasing the player character's level, just as in Skyrim. However, Minor Skills provide 12.5% less XP, making Major Skills the fastest way to level up."

is unclear. Does this mean that *skill XP* is 12.5% faster for major skills, or that major skills provide 12.5% more *character XP*? A little testing with the console seems to indicate that the former may be true, which is not the usual way one would read the article as stated. The first interpretation indicates you should pick most used skills as major for under-leveling purposes. The second interpretation indicates you should keep your most used skills as minor for under-leveling.
