Persistent hornEdit

Worth noting that removing the horn from the corpse's inventory does not cause the horn to disappear from its head? I rather expected that it would be like removing a sheathed weapon from the inventory of an NPC (the weapon disappears from the corpse's belt or back, as appropriate). In terms of immersion, it makes it look like the unicorn is carrying a spare, and there are actually two horns to be had. 12.233.147.42 22:06, 2 April 2014 (GMT)

I wouldn't think so. Considering that you can pelt a bear or a wolf or a mountain lion without leaving behind a filthy pink mess is reason enough --AKB Talk Cont Mail 00:16, 3 April 2014 (GMT)

Hostile UnicornEdit

Is it normal for the unicorn to attack you whenever it becomes hostile toward another enemy? Inevitably, either once the enemy is dead, or if I become the closer target, my unicorn won't consider the fight finished until I am dead. — Unsigned comment by 67.168.181.161 (talk) at 19:08 on 19 June 2017‎

Yes, this is normal behavior, largely due to the unicorn's high aggression. As mentioned in the article, the unicorn is prone to attack anything wielding a weapon/fists, including the player. So if you had a weapon out while fighting enemies, chances are the unicorn will become hostile during that encounter and turn its sights on you once its initial target has been killed or even when you get close enough to it. Wrong last note, the "reveal" was in the hircine quest in Oblivion itselfEdit
