After you put out the larger fire with the Storm Atronach, he will retreat near the abbey with the rest of his brothers and sisters:
- "The Midnight Union's retreated—and I never got a chance to clout one of them!"
Once Abbot Durak is free from his nightmares, he will relocate inside the courtyard of the abbey:
- "Well, you got the job done, though you were gentler than I would've been."

- Despite Gordon mentioning the Midnight Union having retreated, the Midnight Union bandits will continue to occupy the greater Abbey Grounds even after completing all quests and clearing the location.
