Prior to starting the quest, he'll only say:
- "Wonderful day for a bloodfiend attack. What can I do for you, citizen?"
After speaking with Crafty Lerisa you will learn of a plot by the Children of Yokuda that Captain Kaleen is trying to get to the bottom of. You will be directed to Captain Gorblad to find out if he noticed a woman with Kaleen's description:
- Has a Redguard woman come through here? She was wearing a flower in her hair.
- "I did see a woman like that—hard to miss her. Strode up the road like she owned the place. She came back shortly with another Redguard, shifty eyed sort. Spoiling for a fight.
I confronted them, but the woman assured me everything was fine." - Did you see where they went?
- "They headed into Shornhelm. Didn't watch them after that. My eyes stay on the roads, nowadays.
Never know when a bloodfiend will want a snack."
Speaking to him again afterwards:
- "Go on now. Find your friend. Let me do my job."
