Quest-Related EventsEdit
Count Leonard Mornard will publicly do nothing against the Firesong, but secretly has you attempt to rescue Sir Stefan Mornard. After speaking with Archdruid Ellic, you learn that Sir Stefan and Druid Niraya are likely being held in the ruins of Castle Tonnere and Captain Siravaen confirms the story. Soon after you enter the old dungeons, you can eavesdrop on Sealord Nalos speaking with Captain Uldiss:
- Sealord Nalos: "The Eldertide druid broke, as I knew she would."
- Captain Uldiss: "Yes, sealord. Are we finished with her?"
- Sealord Nalos: "Keep her alive until we have the relic in hand."
- <Captain Siravaen then appears out of the shadows.>
- Captain Siravaen: "Nalos! I've come for your head!"
- Sealord Nalos: "Siravaen? Bah! Uldiss, you get the relic and deliver it to the Firesong. I'll deal with this pest."
- <Captain Uldiss teleports away. Sealord Nalos runs and Siravaen gives chase.>
- Captain Siravaen: "Die, traitor! For King Orgnum!"
After you rescue Druid Niraya, you learn where the Eldertide Sacred Seed—the relic she was interrogated about—is hidden. But when you arrive at the hidden entrance, you find Captain Uldiss has gotten there first. When you enter the Eldertide Hollow, you will hear Captain Uldiss give out orders:
- Captain Uldiss: "Watch the tunnel! I have no wish to find Siravaen's blade in my back."
- Captain Uldiss: "Curse it! The seed must be here somewhere."
When you engage her, she will taunt you during combat:
- Captain Uldiss: "I expected more, mainlander. Once I deal with you, I'll bring the druid her relic!"
Close to being defeated:
- Captain Uldiss: "You can't win! Sealord Nalos is coming for Vastyr!"
