Quest-Related EventsEdit
During the quest, Laen the Doorwalker will ask you to find her fellow performers. You'll find Dadazi hiding in the werewolf valley:
- "Get over here! Before the Houndsmen sniff you out!"
- Good advice. Are you Dadazi?
- "You've heard of me? No, I can see it on your face. It was Laen, wasn't it? She sent you to find me.
Have you seen my clumsy husband, Buzul? The fool panicked and fell as we came down the canyon."

- "Certainly. I haven't had much trouble avoiding the Houndsmen when I'm alone, if you get my meaning.
Oh, and as long as you're going to fight the Houndsmen anyway …." - What?
- "The Silvenar gave us each instruments, and they're valuable. If you could get them back, I'd very much appreciate it."

Speaking to her again if you haven't found her instrument yet:
- "We can't perform without instruments! Please find them!"
After returning with the lost instruments, you'll find everyone at the camp. Speak to Dadazi before speaking to Laen and she'll tell you:
- "Buzul won't ruin the performance by limping. Drummers don't need to move much."
Once you ask Laen to have everyone start playing to attract Grimclaw, Dadazi will beg Alainaire to play:
- Dadazi: "Please, Alanaire, just play."
After defeating Grimclaw, she'll say:
- "You've saved us again! We'll never repay you at this rate."
After completing the quest, speak to her before you leave:
- "Someday, we will write a song about your exploits."
DialogueEdit
Speaking to her after the quest at the Chancel of Divine Entreaty:
- "Someday, we will write a song about your exploits."
She can be heard responding to Alanaire's complaints with:
- Dadazi: "Please, Alanaire, just play."
At the Handfast ceremony:
- "I don't know what everyone's so upset about! This is our big opportunity. Yes, we still need practice, but the celebration goes on for days! People will like seeing us get better over time."
NotesEdit
- At the end of The Misfortunate Minstrels, Laen mentions that they all do not know the same songs. Each of the four NPCs though play at the same time, all perform different songs creating a strange cacophony.
