The Dark Mane is a dro-m'Athra who has possessed mane Akkhuz-ri and unleashed the dro-m'Athra upon Reaper's March. According to legend, the Dark Mane was the leader of the Khajiiti people in ancient times. He fell from grace, and was cast out of the Moon's light, forced to walk in darkness for all eternity.

Skills and AbilitiesEdit
- Quick Strike
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Veiled Strike
- The enemy cloaks, becoming untargetable by most attacks, and prepares to slash the target. This attack does moderate physical damage and will stun the target briefly. This attack can be blocked to set the enemy off balance.
- Teleport Strike
- When standing further away from them, the enemy teleports and stabs the target, dealing moderate physical damage.
- Roll Dodge
- The enemy can roll dodge to avoid attacks.

After defeating the Mane, the Dark Mane will exit out of Akkhuz-ri:
- Mane Akkhuz-ri: "Please... I can't take any more."
- Dark Mane: "This one knew the vessel was weak."
- Dark Mane: "The Tharn will be displeased."
- Dark Mane: "End this flesh before you. It is not fit to breathe."
- Dark Mane: "We will meet again."
Motes in the MoonlightEdit
In the next chamber, you'll hear the haunting voice of the Dark Mane:
- Khali: "Where is he?"
- Shazah: "I don't know. He should be in here."
- Dark Mane: "You're mine now, "Champions!""
- Shazah: "Khali! Watch out!"
- Khali: "What?"
The sisters are suddenly bound by magic:
- Shazah: "Aah!"
- Khali: "Aah!"
He then appears and initiates combat. During battle, he summons Sa-m'Athra to aid him.
After wearing the Dark Mane down, he'll try to flee, but suddenly finds himself bound in magical chains:
- Dark Mane: "Enough of this! I'll return to Tharn, and together we'll …."
- Dark Mane: "No! Damn you, First Mane!"
The Fires of DuneEdit
Cleanse a shrine and you'll hear:
- Dark Mane: "Your precious Champion struggles and twists, like a bug in amber. Your Champion is mine, now."
The Den of LorkhajEdit
The Dark Mane will be called in when Javad Tharn is at 50% percent health.
- Javad Tharn: "It seems I have the wrong sister... weakling child!"
- Javad Tharn: "Fine! I'll take care of you myself!"
- Javad Tharn: "Dark Mane! Attend me! May the shadows of your dead god imbue you with strength!"
You will have to fight both Javad and Dark Mane.

NotesEdit
- He wears a set of Dro-m'Athra style armor, as well as the unobtainable Mane braids helmet when fought in combat. He originally wore a Khajiit style cuirass and greaves with Wood Elf style pauldrons without any boots prior to Update 9.
- The Dark Mane also appears as a card in Legends.
