She will welcome you to a drinking contest that is set up by her sister, Aelm:

"Hmm. You look like you could win a bar fight. But what about a drinking contest? That's a real challenge."
What did you have in mind?
"Talk to my sister Aelm inside the pub. She'll set you straight.
Just mind how quick you drink. This ain't Elf wine."
I'll do that.

Speaking to her again:

"Speak to Aelm if you think you can handle a drink. Or ten!"

Speaking to her while the drinking contest is happening:

"Having second thoughts?"

Beat the time and she'll present another challenge where you have to recite Geirmund's Oath while being intoxicated:

"Not bad, not bad. Not that impressive, either.
If you really want to prove yourself—"
What? What? Just tell me what to do.
"Behind you is a stage. Beside the stage is a keg. The brew inside the keg could drop a mammoth.
You think you're tough? Drink the brew, then recite Geirmund's Oath. That would be impressive."
Fine. What's the Oath?
"Lord Geirmund, great battlemage,
saved the Rift in Harald's age.

He slew the wicked Gauldur three,
and set their father's spirit free."
Go on.
"His tomb was built upon this lake,
and in his name this oath I make.

Should evil come, should night descend,
I swear the Rift I will defend."
Done! I'm off.

Speaking to her again before drinking the special brew:

"Go on. Go have a drink and sing for us."

When you drink the brew and have yet to recite the oath. Her voice will be slow and distorted:

"You owe me a song."

Do your best at reciting the lines and return to her:

"Very entertaining."
I'm glad to have entertained.
"You can hold your drink, and you sing like a bird. Geirmund would be proud!"

After completing the quest you'll find her outside the northern open-air drinking structure where she'll simply say:

"Well done."

NotesEdit

  • If you recite the lines fast enough, you can return to Eirfa still under the influence of the drink. If you speak to her in this state, her speech will be extremely slowed down.
