A Door Into MoonlightEdit
He will offer this quest to you if you completed the main quests in Arenthia and Fort Grimwatch:
- "We have heard of your victory in Arenthia. The moon's light flows in your wake! Now it is time you embraced your destiny."
- What are you talking about?
- "We among the lunar clergy have heard of your bravery. You've stood beside their children of Jone and Jode, and fought for the soul of the Khajiit. Some of us believe you may be one soul in thousands. You may be the Moon Hallowed."
- What does that mean?
- "It means you may be the one to walk beside the next Mane. This is a harrowing path and one not lightly taken. Go to the Moonlit Clearing, just north of Senalana. Speak to Priestess Kauzanabi-jo there and she will tell you truly."
- The Moonlit Clearing. I'll head there as soon as I can.
Asking further questions about the Moon Hallowed:
- "She may not believe what we believe, at first. She is my superior within the clergy, and sometimes prideful. But she trusts in the moons. As I do."
- Can you tell me any more about this Moon Hallowed?
- "Of course! I have long studied the ways of the Bright Moons. The Moon Hallowed is said to be the one to walk the Two Moons Path with the Mane. Their guide."
- What is the Moon Hallowed?
- "The Hallowed is a kind of guide, or guardian. When all is well with the people of moonlight, the new Mane is chosen easily. Peacefully. But sometimes things are not so peaceful on the plains of Elsweyr."
- That's when there has to be a Moon Hallowed?
- "Just so. The Hallowed is said to come from all walks of life. In the past the Hallowed has been everything from a great warrior to a common street thief. Not always a Khajiit, even. The one constant has been their role on the Path."
- Two Moons Path? / The Path?
- "We encourage all followers of the Dance to walk the Two Moons Path at least once in their lives. For a new Mane, it is not an option. Walking the Two Moons path is the final step to becoming the Mane."
- What is it? Where is it?
- "The where varies. Any city with a large temple to the Dance may act as a trail to the Path. Dune would be the only one in the March. As to what it is…it changes, depending on the walker. It is different for every person."
- How does this relate to choosing a Mane?
- "The Mane must eventually walk the Two Moons Path. Always. It is hard, coaching someone. Making that journey. Perhaps impossible. The Moon Hallowed is the guide for the Mane along that journey."
To Rawl'khaEdit
Arrive in Rawl'kha and you'll find him on the steps of the temple. If you have last completed Stonefire Machinations, you can say:
- "Welcome to the temple at Rawl'kha, Moon Hallowed."
- I've just come from Arenthia. The city is free, but the Mane ….
- "This one knows, Hallowed. Former Mane Akkhuz-ri is here. Preparations have begun. Your path to the Two Moons Dance begins here and now."
Otherwise, if you have just visited priestess Kauzanabi-jo:
- "Welcome, Moon Hallowed. Welcome to your first steps along the path."
- I've just come from speaking to priestess Kauzanabi-jo.
- "This one knows, Hallowed. The priestess is already here. Preparations have begun. Your path to the Two Moons Dance begins here, and now."
The Champions at Rawl'khaEdit
If you instead came from Fort Grimwatch and completed Stonefire Machinations first and then Grimmer Still as well as being identified as Moon Hallowed:
- "Ahh, the Moon Hallowed. Welcome to the Temple of the Two Moons Dance. The Champions are here, and await only your arrival. Are you ready to join them within?"
- I'm ready. We stood together at Grimwatch.
- "This one knows, Hallowed. Your bravery fills us all with pride.
Preparations have already begun. Your path to the Two Moons Dance begins here, and now."
The First StepEdit
If you have not started the quest and you approach him:
- "In the light of the moons, show us the Path."
Speaking to him to directly to receive the quest:
- "Ahh, the Moon Hallowed. Welcome to the Temple of the Two Moons Dance. The Champions are here, and await only your arrival. Are you ready to join them within?"
Otherwise if you received the quest from Kauzanabi-jo:
- "The Champions are here. They awaited your arrival with great enthusiasm! Are you ready to join them within?"
If you completed The Champions at Rawl'kha, he will say:
- "We will enter the temple together, Hallowed. You are sure you are ready to begin the trial?"
Regardless where you started from, you will be allowed inside the temple:
- I am.
- "Excellent. The Queen, the Silvenar—even the fallen light Akkhuz-ri is within. This one's superior, Kauzanabi-jo, awaits you at the dais. Follow Hadam-do, Hallowed."
- Lead on.
- "The Champions are in good hands with you, Hallowed. Good luck on your path."
Speak to him as soon as you enter the temple and he'll tell you:
- "Mistress Kauzanabi-jo will set you on your path, Hallowed. Good luck."
After speaking to Kauzanabi-jo and before drinking the elixir:
- "The Champions are in good hands with you, Hallowed. Good luck on your path."
After the quest:
- "Truly the Bright Moons shine down upon you. May your path be lit on the trail ahead."
