Hears-the-Winding

Hears-the-Winding is a newly inducted Argonian Apostle found in the top floor of the Cloisters. She has become friends with two of her fellow Apostles, the Dunmer siblings Saelin and Vilasti Arovyn.

She's been teaching Bunishyeeth how to read.

DialogueEdit

As you approach, you'll hear any of the following conversations between Saelin Arovyn, Vilasti, and Hears-the-Winding:

Saelin Arovyn: "Can I borrow your notes on yesterday's lesson? I'd like to … conduct a comparison."
Vilasti Arovyn: "You're cranked if you think I'll do that, given you slept all through the lesson."
Saelin Arovyn: "I wasn't sleeping! Simply meditating on the possibilities of-of …."
Hears-the-Winding: "The implications of thermal reactions of geodic distillate in high-pressure conditions."
Saelin Arovyn: "Yes, that! Exactly!"

Before the Everwound Wellspring objective is complete:

Vilasti Arovyn: "What, do you think you're too good for the apprentice position, Winding?"
Hears-the-Winding: "Perhaps it is better this way. I have heard rumors as of late."
Saelin Arovyn: "What? You're the one always sneaking plants into her room!"
Vilasti Arovyn: "Yes, what better place to study botany than the Wellspring Everwound?"
Hears-the-Winding: "I will walk the path Seht has placed before me. No other."
Saelin Arovyn: "Fine, fine. I still think you're cranked for passing it up though."

After the Everwound Wellspring objective is complete:

Vilasti Arovyn: "The harvest this year is delicious as always!"
Saelin Arovyn: "Quite the welcome change from our daily gruel."
Hears-the-Winding: "I have heard whispers though …."
Vilasti Arovyn: "We've all heard the whispers, Winding. Best to be grateful and leave the rest to Lord Seht.
Hears-the-Winding: "Yes, of course. I apologize."

Speaking to her directly:

"I'm fairly new to the order, so I'm afraid there's not much I can help you with. But I do know my way around the Brass Fortress, if you're ever lost."
"I am still deciding upon a field of study, for there is much to discover in Lord Seht's dominion."
"I'm lucky to have made friends so quickly since joining the order. I know Saelin and Vilasti aren't the easiest to get along with sometimes, but they're actually very kind once you get to know them."
