Hraewin is a Nord and acolyte of the Blushing Brush, a Dibellan sect. Of their small group, she gets along best with Rakamin, while conversely butting heads with High Priest Caroril over various things.
She recently entered the Vale of Revelry along with two other acolytes, and Caroril is concerned for their safety.

Quest-Related EventsEdit
After deciding to help High Priest Caroril retrieve her acolytes, you can enter the Vale to go search for them. Mornabeth can be found preaching to the Revelers, while Rakamin is getting drunk near the Wine Sommelier. Hraewin can be found in the northeast corner, happily dancing to Master of Cups Ixazz's music alongside Crottus Papus.
As you approach, she will shout:
- Hraewin: "Ha! Watch me dance, flat-footed fools! I am grace! I am power!"
You can then speak with her, and she will quickly reveal that this suits her much more than what she was doing with the Blushing Brush:
- "This is much better than sensually waving your arms like a beautiful flower or painting scenes of love. I'll kick my feet and scatter gravel to my heart's content!
Are you here to dance as well?" - High Priest Caroril sent me. She wants you to leave the party.
- "Caroril ruins everything! She preaches love and beauty, but only worships the things she thinks are pretty.
Her definition of beautiful isn't the only one!" - What's your idea of beauty then?
- "I want to revel in anything that makes me feel incredible. Like this glorious kicking dance!
The Blushing Brush promised a life filled with people who are as pretty as I am. But Caroril's rules dull my appearance. My beauty fades under Dibella." - If your beauty isn't with Dibella, where is it then?
- "Here! With the revelers and Sanguine worshipers. Here you don't have to worry about appearances or being graceful at every moment. There's just feeling and glorious music.
I'll leave this party, but only to tell Caroril to stop controlling me."
At this announcement, she will stop dancing and stalk over to the nearby tent:
- Hraewin: "I'll be out once I cool my anger. No need for Caroril to ruin everyone's fun."
If you try talking to her again before leaving:
- "Are you checking up on me?
I'll make good on my word. You don't have to worry about that. Trust me or trust in my anger toward Caroril."
Once you have found all three acolytes, you can leave the Vale, and you will find High Priest Caroril admonishing Hraewin and Rakamin:
- High Priest Caroril: "What do you two have to say for yourselves? You stink of wine and overindulgence!"
- Hraewin: "And you stink of arrogance! I learned more about joy in that party than I ever did with you."
- Rakamin: "Please argue quieter. This one begs."
Speaking to Hraewin before completing the quest with Caroril:
- "Don't try to talk me out of my convictions. I thought I knew joy, but Sanguine showed me that love exists outside of Dibella. I love dancing the way I want to dance.
No one will hold me back. Not anymore."
After completing the quest, Hraewin will of had enough:
- Hraewin: "I spit on Dibella and your brushes. I will dance at that party until I'm ready to leave!"
- <Hraewin stalks off back towards the tent.>
- Rakamin: "This one does not feel well."
- <Rakamin sways and falls backwards.>
- High Priest Caroril: "There's beauty in all things. Especially the sight of a foul person retreating."
- <Mornabeth takes out a quill and paper, and jots some notes down.>
- Mornabeth: "Dibella's teachings are varied and plentiful."
DialogueEdit
After you have completed the quest, you can encounter Hraewin once more if you enter the Vale of Revelry. She will be in the same location as before and happily dancing:
- "This is so freeing! None of Caroril's stiff choreography. No need to look sensual or enticing. No focus on grace and elegance. This is how I was truly meant to dance!
You can join me if you want. I could always use another dance partner." - Sounds like you're enjoying yourself.
- "I wouldn't invite you to partake in a hateful dance.
Look around. These musicians don't miss a beat. The other dancers know what they're doing. Everyone is beautiful without putting on airs or trying too hard. It's glorious!" - Do you feel bad about leaving the Blushing Brush?
- "Pfft! I've never felt more love, merriment, or pleasure. Let Mornabeth and Caroril waste their lives drawing flowers
I miss Rakamin, but I'll show him the steps if he ever wants to join me."
