Hulzar is a Khajiit who can be found in Baan Dar's Litter. He is the natural father of Vazbi, but gave her to the adepts at S'rendarr's Cradle when he and his wife became ill with the Knahaten Flu. However, he and his fellow Stricken managed to survive the flu, even when it disfigured them.
In the years after their exile in the canyon by Silhu-jo, Hulzar's anger and despair twisted him into wanting revenge. However, his love for his daughter remained as strong as it ever did,

Skills and AbilitiesEdit
He uses all of the cauterizer class abilities, as well as some additional abilities:
- Minor Wound
- A basic ranged attack that does minor magical damage.
- Flare
- A basic ranged attack that does minor flame damage.
- Focused Healing
- The enemy will heal any allies that are hurt, including itself. Enemies often indicate this by calling out for healing (I'm hurt!, I need healing!, Healer! etc.) This effect appears as a yellow beam connecting the healer and its target. This spell can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance.
- Heat Wave
- The enemy releases fire along the ground in the direction it is facing. This attack does moderate flame damage to all players hit by it. This spell can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance or simply avoided.
- Fire Runes
- The enemy shoots two fireballs in the air which form two fire runes when they land. The runes do moderate flame damage over time to all enemies within the red circles and should be avoided. Players should be prepared to move as soon as the attack casts as one rune will always be cast on top of you.
- Rite of Passage
- The enemy channels a spell healing itself and nearby allies for 4 seconds. It takes half a second to cast, and another half a second to begin healing its target once the effect is applied. This ability is usually used when the enemy is on low health. This spell can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance.
- Grand Healing
- The enemy summons restoring spirits with its staff, healing itself and nearby allies in the target area for 8 seconds. Try to pull or move the enemies out of the healing circle to stop them healing.
- Quakeshot
- The enemy sends a small fissure hurtling along the ground in your direction, dealing physical damage.
- Summon Allies
- During the fight, he will summon Stricken Agitators to come to his aid.
Quest-Related EventsEdit
When you enter the canyon, you and Vazbi will chase an unknown Khajiit through Baan Dar's Litter. After you split up, you will arrive at a cliff face with small caves dotting its face. Up high, a Khajiit will begin questioning you.
- Hulzar: "Who are you? Where is—."
- <Vazbi arrives through a passage high up>
- Hulzar: "Vazbi! Beloved child. Finally, you have come home at last."
- Vazbi: "Beloved what? I don't—We only want to restore the water."
- Hulzar: "Water? No, no, no! You come for answers, child. Answers from ashes!"
Hulzar whisks Vazbi away and sends his fellows to kill you:
- Hulzar: "Take her to our camp at the Baan Dar Gate. Kill the other and cleanse them in flame. The scouring fire will claim S'rendarr's Cradle soon enough!"
After this, Sihu-jo will join you in finding Vazbi. When Sihu-jo enters the Baan Dar Span, he will go up ahead to try and appeal to Hulzar. Unfortunately, it does not go well:
- Silhu-jo: "Vazbi! You are unharmed, yes?"
- Hulzar: "No! My daughter is no longer yours to corrupt, adept!"
- <Hulzar kills Sihu-jo.>
- Silhu-jo: "Argh!"
- Vazbi: "No!"
He will then race outside to the Baan Dar Overlook. After speaking with Vazbi, you will need to confront and stop him:
- Hulzar: "You think you can keep me from my vengeance? Come, then!"
As he is slain, you can hear his final apology to his daughter:
- Hulzar: "Vazbi …. I'm sorry."
