Klause

Klause is a mad Nord warrior found inside the City District of Shada's Tear. He was part of the excavation team that ventured into the ruins but went mad after he drank the poisoned water. He is found with two Nedic Ice Mages and two Skeletal Archers, and also summons two Nedic Channellers.

Skills and AbilitiesEdit

He uses all of the nullifier class abilities, as well as one extra ability:

Quick Strike
A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
Uppercut
A melee attack that causes moderate physical damage and knock back if it connects. This attack can be blocked to stagger Klause.
Ice Cage
Klause summons a ring of frost around himself that does moderate frost damage over time to all targets in the red circle.
Negate Magic
Klause creates a globe of magic suppression for 10 seconds, removing and preventing all player area of effect abilities from occurring in the area. Players within the globe will be silenced and pets/companions are stunned. Silence prevents players from using any ability costing Health, Magicka, Ultimate or have no cost at all as long as they are in the affected area.
Horn Call
Klause uses the ancient horn he found previously and blows into it loudly, indicated by a red cone AoE in front of him, dealing massive physical damage and stunning targets hit. Afterwards, two Nedic Channeller are summoned to assist him. They focus on empowering him with magic, greatly increasing his damage output.

Quest-Related EventsEdit

When he's summoning Channellers, he says:

Klause: "Shada's minions! To my aid!"

After his defeat, his spirit appears.

Klause: "Thank you for releasing me from the curse. Please, speak to me as you leave this chamber. I don't have much time before my spirit fades."

Speak with his spirit.

"What did we do? Nahlia—she's going to be used in the sacrifice. The waters turned us against our own people."
Where is Nahlia?
"The final chamber. She's been imprisoned for the sacrifice. No time. You must find a way to open her prison, or Shada will claim her."
Who is Shada?
"She is master of this place. Master of the Nereids. It's her curse that corrupts the water.
We drank the water and became more powerful than ever. We also became her slaves. Stop her. Free Nahlia."
