Andwulf will be standing outside the Pact Lodge on the southeast end of town, looking menacing. When you're not trying to get around him, he'll simply say:
- "Get yourself gone, elf-slave. Your Queen has no power here."
If you attempt to sneak by him and enter the lodge during his section of the quest, he will say one of the following:
If you decide to get into the Pact Lodge he's guarding, he'll say:
- "Ho there! Can't let you in here."
- I just need to step inside for a moment. No one will notice.
- "No way, milk-drinker. This lodge is for members of the Ebonheart Pact only. Leave now, or you'll regret it."
- [Intimidate] Look me in the eye, soldier. And say that again.
- "Whoa, whoa! Easy now! Uh, I suddenly remembered … I have to go on patrol.
See, I'm just going to step away … no harm, no foul." - That's right. Walk away.
- <Ends the conversation>
- "Whoa, whoa! Easy now! Uh, I suddenly remembered … I have to go on patrol.
- I'll regret what, exactly?
- "Enough talk. Leave, now, or I raise the alarm and we end your miserable life."
If you can intimidate him, he'll walk away to the stone wall behind the building.
If you instead chose to progress the quest through distracting Scout Irvina, he will say the following when spoken to:
- "Get yourself gone, elf-slave. Your Queen has no power here."
