As it turns out Remic and Yazgutha have been tailing Razum-dar, and the Khajiit enlists your help to distract them. There are multiple ways to do so:
- Borogoromir and the Y'ffelon Surprise
You convince Borogoromir to bring the pair a serving of pungent smelling Y'ffelon Surprise:
- Borogoromir: "Here we go! One Y'ffelon Surprise! Enjoy, you two!"
- <Remic and Yazgutha begin to gag.>
- Remic Jemane: "Kynareth's reeking bilge, what is that smell?"
- <In the meantime, Razum-dar sneaks out.>
- Jeanette Floute and her song
You pay Jeanette to play an unbearable song to the pair:
- Jeanette Floute: "One original song, coming right up up!"
<She proceeds to play the flute off-key, causing Remic and Yazgutha discomfort>
- Remic Jemane: "Beef-wit! Knock off that racket!"
<Razum-dar is able to sneak out of the tavern.>
- Kinlord Malosur and his issue of challenge
You convince Kinlord Malosur to pick a fight with the pair:
- Kinlord Malosur: "I say, you fobbing rascals! Bilge-breath jackanapes! I've five coins that say you're too soft to prove your mettle. Let us engage in fisticuffs!"
- Remic Jemane: "Five coin sounds good. Hah!"
- <Remic knocks out Malosur in one punch while Razum-dar sneaks out.>
- Tampering with the ale cask
You tamper with the ale cask by removing the cork, which will spill ale over Remic:
- Remic Jemane: "Argh! What in Oblivion?"
<Remic and Yazgutha run over to the far side of the inn to avoid being splashed with more ale while Razum-dar sneaks out.>
Razum-dar will ask you trail after the pair to see where they are headed off to.
- Remic Jemane: "Damn it, where did that cat skulk off to? I told you to keep an eye on him!"
- Yazgutha: "Yeah, yeah, yeah. You were there, too. What should we tell the boss?"
- Remic Jemane: "We've got to report in. But let's shake loose a few payments first. Maybe he'll go easier on us."
If you get too close during the chase while the pair are shaking down civilians, he will say:
- Remic Jemane: "Hang, on, I think I saw something."
- Remic Jemane: "Huh. Could have sworn … guess not."
- Remic Jemane: "Wait, is that the cat?"
You will then watch them enter the underground gaming hall:
- Remic Jemane: "All right. Time to tell the boss we lost the cat."
- Razum-dar: "Well. They took their time. But Raz has learned what he needed."
