During the related quest, after the Worm Cult attacks the Thane's manor, several friendly housecarls will tell you where they saw Aera flee. The one on the stairs will say:
- "I saw her head toward the water."
An injured housecarl on the river's edge will say:
- "She went into the crypt …."
