Detailed WalkthroughEdit
Southwest of the Obsidian Gorge Wayshrine you will come upon a Nord in nothing but his undergarments and helmet nursing a hangover. Norgred Hardhelm claims a witch had cast a spell upon him and stolen his axe and clothes and pleads you to help him recover his axe so that his wife does not become angry at him for losing such a precious family heirloom.
Once you agree to help head north and talk to the witch, who is really his wife Evigna who points you in the direction she believe her drunken husband may have left his belongings. Go south to Old Ida's Cottage. Norgred's pants will be in the shed on the docks and the Axe of Halmer Stormhand will be inside the cottage. Once you have both you can return to Norgred.
After you return the items to Nogred he will thank you and the quest will be complete. Evigna will then walk over to scold her husband for his drunken behavior
- Evigna:"There's my brave pantsless warrir. Do you remember anything from last night?"
- Norgred:"There you are, my sweet, uh, Briar Heart. I battled a witch last night."
- Evigna: "Was she frightened off by your nakedness? Put some pants on you sot!"
NotesEdit
- This quest, along with the quest If the Spell Fits in Vvardenfell, are part of a running gag where naked nords dressed in nothing but their undergarments frequently appeared in Morrowind, having been tricked by witches.

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
