The Tide-Born, also known as the Izta-Ahuak are one of the two Argonian cultural groups native to Solstice and have various settlements on the western half of the island. Their ancestors arrived to the island prior to the Duskfall and thus, unlike their mainlander cousins, they are not linked to the Hist and instead revere the Tides. This relates to their belief that the Tide-Born are the reborn memories of Argonians with an unfinished destiny.
The Tide-Born also have a few known sub-tribes found around Western-Solstice; Salt-Cured, Palm-Backed and Mihuitleel. In recent times, they also absorbed extant members of a destroyed Naga tribe once found on the island.
