Quest-Related EventsEdit
While looking for Valentyn Dantaine in the stockade, Garwilith will deign to speak with you about his whereabouts. However, she wants you to do something for her—revenge on Yvara. A while ago, Yvara used something Garwilith had found to gain Trusty status, and Garwilith wants that taken away from her. She will suggest taking something from a guard and hiding it in Yvara's bedroll.
You can try speaking with Yvara, but she will not say much:
If wearing a trusty disguise:
- "Funny, I haven't heard about any new trusties lately. I'm watching you, stranger."
If you're wearing a prisoner disguise or no disguise:
- "How did you—you're not a prisoner! Get lost before I inform the jailers!"
You will need to cause a distraction to approach Yvara's bedroll, otherwise the following will happen:
- Trusty Yvara: "Hey! Get away from my bedroll!"
There are two ways you can distract Yvara, first one is to open the waste barrel below her will cause her to shout and investigate:
- Trusty Yvara: "Ugh, what a horrid smell! Did someone leave that waste barrel open again?"
- <Yvara then goes below.>
If spoken to after the barrel is open:
- "Who left that damn barrel open? It stinks to Oblivion! I think I'm going to retch!"
The second is to convince Trusty Hemgruuf to get in a fight with her. Hemgruuf will call her over:
- Trusty Hemgruuf: "Hey Yvara! Come and insult me to my face! I dare you!"
- Trusty Yvara: "What are you talking about, you big oaf?"
- Trusty Hemgruuf: "You said I smell worse than a Wood Elf's rotmeth!"
- Trusty Yvara: "I said no such thing, but it's true. Your odor could knock out a mammoth!"
- Trusty Hemgruuf: "Oh yeah? Oh yeah? Let's see how you smell without a nose!"
- Trusty Yvara: "You want a fight, big boy? I'll give you a fight!"
Speaking to her while she's having her showdown:
- "You mind? I'm a little busy at the moment."
In either case, once you have placed the item in Yvara's bedroll, you can tell Garwilith. After you informed her and received her info, Jailer Zalzay will accompany Jailer Belad to begin their daily belongings check, starting with Yvara:
- Jailer Belad: "Time for your belongings check, Yvara. Don't mind us."
- <Jailer Zalzay crouches down and looks through her bedroll.>
- Jailer Zalzay: "Hey, what's my locket doing in your bedroll?"
- Trusty Yvara: "What? No! How'd that get—"
- Jailer Zalzay: "That's it! Your status as a trusty is revoked and you're going to processing!"
- Trusty Yvara: "No! Not the jungle! I'm innocent!"
- Jailer Belad: "Move! This platform is for trusties, not the common rabble. You'll be on your way to the jungle before you know it."
- <Trusty Yvara dejectedly walks away.>
