Wyress Ursus is a Breton wyress who hunts alongside her sisters, Rangifer and Strigidae, in the Bloodscent Pass. She and her sisters serve as the first bosses encountered in the March of Sacrifices. She wields a mace and shield and is surrounded by a green aura. She represents Hrokkibeg, the Mighty Bear.

Skills and AbilitiesEdit
As a boss type enemy, Wyress Ursus is immune to all crowd control effects.
- Quick Strike
- A basic melee attack that deals minor physical damage.
- Deep Slash
- The enemy slashes at your shins snaring you and dealing moderate physical damage.
- Power Bash
- A charged melee attack that deals very high physical damage. This must be blocked by the tank or dodged if you are not.
- Shield Charge
- The boss charges at a random target stunning them and dealing moderate physical damage. This occurs whether or not she is taunted, and she will target anyone in view of her. One strategy is to keep the boss out of line of sight of the group behind the rock on the island to she does not charge anyone.
- Bear Aura
- The boss has a green circle around her that boosts the damage dealt by her allies. Keep the bosses separate to prevent this. When she dies she will spawn a bear that emanates the same aura, the bear cannot be damaged or interacted with and will move on its own.

- Wyress Ursus: "This is turning out to be quite the eventful hunt!"
- Wyress Ursus: "I'll hunt every last one of you down!"
Group wipe:
- Wyress Ursus: "Perhaps next time Lord Hircine will give us foes worth bragging about."
- Wyress Ursus: "It's always disappointing when the prey barely fights back."
- Wyress Ursus: "It seems you were nothing against a bear's might!"
After she is killed:
- Wyress Ursus: "Stay strong, sisters! My spirit is with you."
- Wyress Ursus: "The spirit of the bear lives on."
- Wyress Ursus: "Even in death, I can still fight."
When she is the last to be defeated:
- Wyress Ursus: "We failed, sisters …. But we shall hunt again."

- She wears the helmet used in the Old Orsinium Sentry costume.
- It was revealed that she along with her sisters each represent a different aspect of Hircine in ESO Live's preview of Wolfhunter (Timestamp 32:30).
