Rapport decrease for theftEdit

Picked a safebox and gained rapport, however upon stealing the items (gold and a Stuffed Bantam Guar), I lost rapport, so it seems she might take issue with stealing Dolls or Oddities. The loss was one heart icon, but someone may need to verify.

Viewing dialogue in lang file, I think Tanlorin doesn't like if you steal children's toys. So the decrease is probably from the doll category rather than the oddity category. Would have to see it in action though to confirm.--Talyyn (talk) 06:54, 30 October 2024 (UTC)

Rapport increase for Persuasion skill useEdit

Finished a delve quest with a Persuade dialogue, got a 3-heart Rapport increase (didn't see the exact points) with the comment "Is that all that silver tongue can do?" - going to try and repeat to be sure of the requirement. --Yllwyn (talk)

I think I've heard that line before, but in my case I don't think it was a delve quest. Maybe a quest completion? --Talyyn (talk) 11:51, 2 November 2024 (UTC)

Oh for sure, I feel like the "delve" part is a coincidence on my part - if I had to guess, it's probably tied to using a Persuade dialogue (because I definitely did on that one). --Yllwyn (talk)

Rapport decrease for approaching area in StormholdEdit

Appeared to lose 1 rapport for approaching the structure south-west in Stormhold, where the Circus of Cheerful Slaughter lorebook is. Approached it from the Outlaws Refuge, so was far away from the Mages Guild, and lorebook there was already read so the decrease definitely wasn't for either of those things, and there was nothing else around/no action taken by me. Had the game on mute so I didn't catch any dialogue about it to confirm what caused it, but someone might want to see if they can replicate it.

I can confirm this, but their response is the same as when entering a Mages Guild. To specify, I got the rapport decrease when bypassing the Hist tree overlooking the city; it might have something to do with the fact that, mechanically, the Mages Guild interior is directly underneath the structure that you've mentioned. West Weald Ayleids wells don't work for rapport increaseEdit

I was going down the list to get all the possible rapport bonuses I could, and I decided to try the Ayleid wells in West Weald for the rapport bonus, but they don't work for earning rapport with Tan, as opposed to wells in Shadowfen or Betnikh. Rapport decrease for reading lore booksEdit

I opened up one of the crafting motifs in the lore library menu option to see what pieces I was missing for one of the motifs, and I think I lost rapport just from that. Didn't even read the lore book. Need someone to confirm before adding to page. Aya (talk) 14:35, 17 November 2024 (UTC)

Rapport decrease for harvesting nirnrootEdit

Rapport decrease when visiting ArtaeumEdit

Unlike Azandar's decrease/Bastian's increase, just running around Artaeum didn't seem to trigger the rapport decrease. Rather, I lost rapport when I got close to Ceporah Tower (when I got near the merchant, Nalirsewen, to be exact). It happened at the exact same moment as Tanlorin's line specifically referencing the tower: "You think they're compensating for anything?" -- Perey (talk) 11:32, 9 December 2024 (UTC)

Quest commentaryEdit

Since Tan has some quest commentary where we don't know what quest it applies to, I wanted to post what I've tried here for easier process of elimination. The line "This is what happens when you let stuffy nobles run the show. People suffer, and for what? Better margins? Despicable." is not for Another Death in Ontus despite how perfectly it fits the conclusion. I tried on two separate characters to be sure :( M1SHAAN (talk)
