Steepfall Burrow is a small cave northwest of Dragon Bridge containing frost trolls and ice wolves. It contains only one zone, Steepfall Burrow.
Although the interior of the cave is named "Steepfall Burrow", the map markers for the two entrances are named "Steepfall Burrow" and "Lower Steepfall Burrow", counting as two separate locations for the "Locations Discovered" statistic. To fully explore the cave, you must enter via the upper "Steepfall Burrow" entrance.

The upper cave entrance is along a winding dirt path in the mountainous region west of Fort Hraggstad, near the northern coast of Haafingar.
Steepfall BurrowEdit
Upon entering, there is a ledge on your right with a snowberry bush; a second bush is ahead. The tunnel heads south before turning east and opening into a cavern with a natural bridge across a deep drop into water. A frost troll is on the other side of the bridge. Beyond is a tunnel rising to the east to a small chamber with another frost troll. North of the chamber is a small passage where a skeleton is laid out with a copy of the Destruction skill book Mystery of Talara, v3 and a random potion, sword, shield, and helmet. In the corner opposite is an unlocked boss chest with a large coin purse and a random weapon in front and a snowberry bush at either end. The drop from the bridge into the water is survivable, and leads to the lower section of the cave.
At the bottom of the pool is an apprentice-locked chest with a random soul gem next to it on the southwest side, while a small coin purse and a random warhammer and potion are near some mammoth ribs on the north side. Directly under the bridge, on the west side of the pool, is a short underwater tunnel leading to a chamber where a small pack of ice wolves lairs; one of the wolves is next to where you emerge from the tunnel. South of where you surface is an unlocked chest to the left of an earthen ramp leading up to the ledge above. On the ledge is a corundum ore vein and a snowberry bush to the right, while to the left is a dead hunter lying near a random dagger and a satchel. Just north of where you surface is a small tunnel leading to the "Lower Steepfall Burrow" exit at the bottom of the mountain near the shore.
