This template allows standardization of the "This template has been copied from" text used in the documentation of many other templates.

ParametersEdit

Template Copied

Parameter	Scope	Description
1 or template	optional	The original name of the template that was copied. (Note: this parameter will not default to the page name. This is deliberate to avoid potentially misleading or broken links in the event that the names are different between our wiki and the original.)
2 or from	optional	The name of the wiki that the template was copied from (defaults to "Wikipedia"). If this is a recognized name, an interwiki link will be created.
3 or link	optional	The URL of the wiki for linking. This should be the entire URL of the main page, or if the template parameter is specified, the URL of the copied template, less the trailing /Template:... portion.
nocat	optional	If specified, will not categorize into Templates Copied from Other Sites.
