(Wilderness Dweller-type Roleplaying)
Hunter
Summary: Character that lives in the woods, lives from the woods and primarily uses a Bow as the weapon of choice.
As a hunter you live from nature. You main skills should be something around these lines:
- Marksman,
- Sneak,
- Blade,
- Alchemy,
- Acrobatics,
- Light Armor,
- Armorer,
Some basic Hunter rules:
- Try to stay away from big cities.
- If you're selling items, try to help the smaller settlements out by selling to them.
- Use the least possible (or reasonable) amount of fast travels.
- Kill only as much animals as needed to live a reasonable life.
- Try not to do criminal acts. (Murder and theft)
- If you happen to do, for murder, set up a memorial at a camp and lay their items at or in the fire. For theft, return the item(s) to their owner and oplogize by bribing them.
Advanced Hunter Rules:
- Use your map only when it's dry, otherwise it might get wet and destroyed.
- Simulate skinning an animal by stabbing the dead body with a knife a couple of times.
- Eat and drink three times a day. After which you wait an hour to simulate the time spent while eating. (You can get drinks by making potions, not by taking alcohol)
- A good hunting session is not 6 hours. Go out! Hunt for a day or three! If doing so, take enough supplies with you, you never know if you have to sleep in the open..
Your house obiously can't be somewhere in a major city. That wouldn't fit a hunter.
Possible houses with one or more safe containers include:
- The House in the Waterfront, this one has many safe containers, however it is a bit close to the IC, but reasonably far away to be considered a house away from major civilization.
- Greyland, next to Leyawiin, although this house has only one safe container, the chest originally containing skooma, it's still a pretty looking house for hunters. However, each week, a Marauder will spawn inside.
- Aleswell Inn, this location is more of a come-by, drop-off location, since a hunter would not live in a village, no matter how small it might be. Once you have completed Zero Visibility, you can stay at the inn for as long as you want, plus, the chest is safe.
- White Stallion Lodge, okay, I know, you have to complete two quests for Count Leyawiin to get this house, but it has a lot of safe containers. The only problem is Mazoga, who will also live there and eat food out of the safe containers. You could, however, let her die in the Knight of the White Stallion quest. You can still get the lodge this way.
(Scientist-type Roleplaying)
Collector
Originally, you are a rich noble, but intrigued by the Cyrodiilic culture, you decide, that, like Narina Carvain with the Akavir, you want to collect as much items of the Cyrodiilic culture. And honestly, your curiosity doesn't stop there, the Akavir also intrigue you very much, so you'll want to get those items as well. Duplicates are no problem for you.
Nothing will stop you from getting everything you want. If you have to kill innocent people for the Dark Brotherhood, so be it. If something is only available in, say like, Castle Bravil, you will take it. Obviously, you would need a very big house to showcase it all, or just enought giant-ass containers. But divide stuff, would one cupboard hold over 5000 bottles of Ale?
A lot of time, planning, money and luck is required for this roleplay-playthrough, so make sure you have those. A new file is recommended.
As far as I'm concerned, there are only a few items that have to be traded in for others, for PC players this shouldn't be a problem, with the exception of the two Akaviri katana's from the start of the game, and maybe the two items in Mephala's quest, but that's sadly a bummer only mods, which I'm not even sure if they exist, can fix.
