I was introduced in 2006. I first saw it perhaps a year prior, but as per my general disdain for single-player RPGs, I didn't look into it. After much effort, I was convinced to really give the game a try, and I've loved it.
My first character allowed the problem with leveling through non-combat abilities to get away with him, and was a bit of a fiasco, so I started a new one, and am currently exploring Tamriel as a Dunmer thief born under the Atronach. I'm still somewhat new to the game and haven't yet been to the Shivering Isles. There's still too much of Tamriel to see yet.

Eshkadeth Ules: A spoiled Hlaalu boy on an excursion into Cyrodiil, whose Imperial City uncle might get him admitted into the Arcane University... or might get him killed. (Major player in Shade-Eyes story.)

My knowledge of Tamriel is not all that deep just yet. For now, I think I could be most useful doing general editing for grammar, structure, and clarity.
