User talk:Lord Geogorath

Yeah, don't copy from wikipedia, like you did on Oblivion:Unknown Elder Scrolls Project, alright? --Ratwar 15:13, 16 October 2007 (EDT)

Tiberius StormriderEdit

Lord Geogorath,

Recently, you asked one of our administrators, Rpeh, about another user who left the site in August, Tiberius Stormrider. This led to a discussion among most of the active administrators about a possible relationship between you and Tiberius. We found several similarities, including Greek IP addresses, similar names (Tiberius’s actual name was George), uploading very similar images (File:User-Lord Geogorath-Image-Geogorath.jpg and Image:Siconcept03S.jpg), your knowledge of Tiberius (when User Pages do not show up without specifically selecting the option in searches), and the fact that you went directly to Rpeh, someone who frequently clashed with Tiberius.

With all of the similarities, we have been forced to conclude that you and Tiberius are one and the same. This does not mean you will be facing administrative action in any way. Our hope is to clear the air between you and the rest of our community here on the UESP. Nobody appreciates people lying about or hiding their identity, and that’s no different here. --Ratwar 18:23, 17 October 2007 (EDT)

What News, Friend?Edit

I have no clue what went on with Rpeh and Tiberius and you, though rereading that sentence makes me imagine things that I'm sure none of you want to vizualize. That said, what you posted on Daveh's talk page seems unnessecary. While I await Tiberius's next arrival with bated breath now that you've told us it's imminent, I don't understand why you feel the need to be his herald.

I guess what I'm saying is, what's going on exactly? I suppose if I were suddenly unable to come here, I might tell my friend quash to put a notice on my userpage, but to go straight to Daveh? Daring, and again, unnessecary.

I'm not accusing you of anything, and I don't know enough of you or Tiberius to be against you, as you seem to think some might be. Can you please explain for me? Somercy 12:17, 18 October 2007 (EDT)

Why you were removed from the Mentor ProgramEdit

This is a courtesy message to inform you that your user profile has been removed from the list of mentors at UESPWiki:Mentor Program, and also to request that you remove the "Mentor" userbox on your user page. If this userbox is not removed within one week from the date of this notice, an administrator will remove it. Please visit the Mentor Program page to see the new expectations of mentors. If you believe you satisfy the expectations of Mentors, then please contact the user who posted this message. The reason you were removed from the list is: "Mentors are expected to have made at least 200 constructive edits, outside of “User” and “Talk” namespaces."

It's been a week, so I've gone ahead and deleted the mentor userbox from your user page. If you become more active on the site and reach the 200 edit requirement (and also have the other requirements as detailed at UESPWiki:Mentor Program), please feel free to join the mentor program at that point. We would welcome the assistance, it's just that we're also trying to make the mentor program as useful as possible for new editors. --NepheleTalk 20:45, 13 November 2007 (EST)
I note that you have added the Mentor userbox to your page again. Please can you remove it? There are three requirements to be a mentor as detailed here; 200 constructive edits, Active within the last three months and Email enabled. You meet none of those requirements at the moment. Thanks. –RpehTCE 03:52, 10 March 2008 (EDT)
I've gone ahead and just deleted the mentor userbox, given this editor's previous refusal to remove the mentor userbox, his blatant disregard of our standards in putting it back on his user page, and his comment on my talk page "Well if you don't think that this title is for me just remove it." I also don't want to have to waste my time remembering to keep an eye on this page to make sure it eventually gets removed; I'd rather just get it off my todo list right now.
And, Lord Geogorath: do not try to put the userbox back on your page until you have read the mentorship requirements at Mentor Program and can clearly show that you have satisfied all of the requirements. Further attempts to add yourself to the mentor list without the least attempt to check the program's requirements will be a pointless disruption to the community and will lead to administrative actions. --NepheleTalk 12:41, 10 March 2008 (EDT)

Explanation PleaseEdit

Please could you explain what exactly you mean by your talk of an upcoming war in this post and this one? --RpehTCE 05:48, 1 December 2007 (EST)

...and this one. If by "war" you are suggesting that Tiberius Stormrider is going to try to disrupt the wiki deliberately, then please pass on (playing along with the fiction for a moment) the message that such behaviour will not be tolerated and will undoubtedly result in a block. --RpehTCE 05:56, 1 December 2007 (EST)

WarningEdit

Please stop adding threatening messages about UESPWiki "wars" on other users' talk pages. Making threats is unacceptable behaviour and disrupts the community. If you continue to abuse your editing privileges, this account will be blocked from editing. —NepheleTalk 16:10, 19 April 2008 (EDT)

Meanwhile, I missed seeing your comment because Nephi removed it. Ah, well. I know nothing about Oblivion, so I'd advise you to ask Nephele or Rpeh about Sergius turrianus, or whatever his name is. Meanwhile, send my respectful regards to Tiberius. You and he are both welcome to email me to talk, if you'd like to. However, do be careful what you say on-site. May your day be pleasant, and the same unto Tiberius. Somercy 15:29, 22 April 2008 (EDT)
