As a person who would like to remember the things these people say, but won't keep a thousand saves just to hear monologues, I thank you for this page. =) IWon'tFightUndead 12:46, 3 October 2007 (EDT)

I actually have kept a lot of saves as I like to hear them speak. The developers have chosen wonderful voice-actors. But I started compiling them for quick reference, and also because they have a lot of meaning hidden within them, which made me think they would be useful. I am glad you liked it :). And also you can use the Construction Set to export all the dialogue (see my talk page for details). --Mankar Camoran 13:28, 3 October 2007 (EDT)

Yeah, Brother Martin's got a great voice ^_-. I always love it when you first meat him (and I've done that a lot): "Yes, I'm a priest. Do you need a priest?" Its funny ^_-.

Or all those blokes, like the guy in the fighters guild: "They call me Sten, the Ugly. I got tired beating people up for it, so go ahead, live it up."
Owyn, in the Bloodworks... "I heard a rumour that your an idiot.", Heheheh. That games got some good blokes 'n' ladies, eh? KarKing Jack 16:11, 8 November 2007 (EST)
It certainly has some good voice actors, but the best are the unique voice actors for the three main characters - Uriel Septim, Brother Martin and Mankar Camoran. Uriel doesn't have much to say because he dies early. So my favourites are Terence Stamp and Sean Bean as Mankar and Martin respectively. Sheogorath in SI is also really good. --Mankar CamoranTCE 06:07, 9 November 2007 (EST)
Yes, its marvellous. Pity the emperor didn't say a lot, though, irrit? But then, that was the point, heheh. I mean, it would have spoiled the plot. Sheograth? Never heard him, unfortunatly, never got SI (Well, thats not true. I play on the Xbox, and got the expansion, etc., but I lack the means (Hardrive), to install it, currently). Or Mankar Camoran, Yarhar, I thought that was you ^_-KarKing Jack 16:30, 12 November 2007 (EST)
Hey, don't you know Mankar Camoran? He is the main villain in Oblivion. You will know about him if you complete the main quest. Even if you don't you can know about all of them just by browsing this site! And good the emperor died early actually. It made the player a hero! --Mankar CamoranTCE 16:43, 12 November 2007 (EST)
And I hope you get a better hard drive soon because SI is also very good, especially the main quest. --Mankar CamoranTCE 16:52, 12 November 2007 (EST)
I liked Sean Bean as Martin best, he's always so Cynical and depressed sounding (of course I suppose you would be if loads of demons spawned in the middle of a town and killed everyone!). Terrence Scamp is good too as Cameron I thought. I wasn't so keen on Sheogorath though. The voice actor can't seem to decide whether to do a Scottish accent or an Irish accent a lot of the time. Some of the phrases he says were pretty bizzare though!--Willyhead 18:57, 17 November 2007 (EST)

I like Sheogorath more for what he says than for his accent. Yes, he does use bizarre phrases! That's what I like about him.

Although both SB and TS are British, the way they speak is very different. SB is a bit soft-spoken. He was soft-spoken even as Richard Sharpe in the Sharpe series (I hope you have seen it, it's really good). So he is perfect as Martin who is a little philosophical.

Speaking of accents, I really like Stamp's accent. He speaks really well, even in his movies (I really liked his portrayal as General Zod in Superman II). He speaks in a very forthright manner and with a lot of conviction. So that made him perfect for Camoran's role. The developers deserve a lot of praise for choosing them for their respective roles. --Mankar CamoranTCE 08:39, 18 November 2007 (EST)

Yeah Bean speaks with more of a Yorkshire accent while Stamp has more of a straight accent. They both did a great job on the voice acting though. Your sandbox is cool because there is no other page on the wiki like it- it displays all the best speeches. Good job ;)!--Willyhead 09:32, 18 November 2007 (EST)
Thanks. I am glad many of you liked it :). --Mankar CamoranTCE 09:48, 18 November 2007 (EST)
You know, i think Patrick Stewart (who grew up in my home town incidentally) has the best potential, but weakest part. Sean Bean speaks too quietly for my liking, and althogh he's a good character, the voice acting sometimes sounds...out of place. However, Sheogorath is possibly the best sounding character i've come across in any game. His accent and lines match each other perfectly, his voice acting is done with such finesse and, of course, his actual lines are hilarious. --Harry howarth 18:45, 23 March 2008 (EDT)
