Whenever you enter an Inn, you may notice various Patrons sat or standing at the tables placed around the room. Conversation with them will reveal some humorous but often mean spirited responses. Though on occasion there is some helpful information shared with you. A transcript can be found in the Patron Conversation section below.

As you approach this man, he lowers his mug. With renewed hope you quickly ask him for help. But, alas, he once again raises his mug to his lips and takes another sip, his own troubles more important.

Using his farm tool to lean on, this man stands proud and seeks the comfort of a pleasant seat and a good drink.

With his joyful holiday attire, this man could have the answers you seek. As you approach him your hope wanes as he nods off to sleep.

Standing tall, her appearance is one of both strength and authority. Perhaps she can provide the guidance you seek.

Attractive as only a blonde can be, you approach hoping that her knowledge exceeds her good looks. Many might not notice the slightly obscured sword, sheathed at her hip

The rich blue and maroon dress indicates a woman of good taste. Hoping she is a knowledgeable member of the wait staff, you approach and engage in conversation.

Appearing to have some authority, you approach this man seeking answers. He fidgets nervously as he responds to your queries.

Patron ConversationEdit

The various Inn patrons respond to you with randomized lines with various attitudes. These personalities are themselves as a whole inconsequential as they might change after a couple of interactions with patrons, even to the point where one changes their attitude after reply is given to you

"Don't get too many strangers in the [tavern name]. Not exactly a tourist spot."
"[Provincial exclamation], who smells like an old horse in here? Oh, it's me."
"See if the bartender has any claret left. It's the tastiest wine in [Province]."
"No one in [tavern name] likes a stranger. Except the bartender, if you tip."

"Why don't you talk to that little fat guy? He's the bartender."
"If you must bother someone, bother the bartender. He gets paid for it."
"[Regional exclamation], don't bother me, [PC race]. The bartender can help you if you need it."
"Why don't you talk to the bartender? He actually likes strangers."
"If you want to hear gossip, go talk to the bartender."
"I'm here to drink. If you want to do business, talk to the bartender."
"The bartender will be more than happy to help you. Just move along now."
"Take my advice, [PC race], get a double room. The single here is lice infested."
"Don't bother with a cheap room at the [tavern name], [PC race]. Get at least a double."
"You won't find any better ale in [Settlement name] than here at the [tavern name]."
"The bartender would know if there's any work to be found in [settlement name]."
"I haven't heard of any work, but the bartender is better informed than me."
"Talk to the bartender, [PC race]. He's the only one at the [tavern name] with information."
"If you're looking for a dungeon to crawl in, there's one right outside."

"Sorry, I don't think I know you, nor do I wish to."
"I want to be alone."
"I don't mean to be rude, but go away."
"No offense, [PC race], but I don't need any company right now."
"Begone, o [PC race]. I don't wish to converse with you."
"I have zero interest in you or anything you have to say, [PC race]."
"You might find this hard to believe, but I don't want to be your friend."'

"Do you mind, [PC race]? I was just having a chat with my invisible friend."
"I hate to see my favorite tavern overrun by [PC race] barbarians. No offense."
"[Provincial exclamation], I'm in no mood to be hassled by a drunk [PC race]."
"[Provincial exclamation], I never met a [PC race] I liked. Go away now."
"I love [PC race] adventurers ... boiled."
"[Provincial exclamation], I forgot how many stupid [PC race] adventurers there are in the [tavern name]."
"I'm sorry, but if you thought I looked friendly, you were mistaken."
