Furniture stores were originally intended to be shops where you could buy furniture for any purchased house, although in-game they seem to have just been adapted as Thieves Guild fronts. Their location can be inquired about under the General category (distinct from General Stores). Some examples of such locations are First Class Interior Design in Ripwych within Daggerfall, The Champion Carpentry in Tuntower within Daggerfall, and The Duchess's Furniture Shop in Merdale within Daenia.
Furniture stores share their sign logo with pawn shops.
