B'Korgen (also referred to as Bekor-gen)[1] was a Sea Sload sorcerer proficient in alchemy, fleshcrafting, and mind magic. He was a member of Abyssal Cabal, collaborating with the Court of Bedlam with the shared goal of sinking the Summerset Isle during the Interregnum.[2][3][4]

HistoryEdit

Summerset InvasionEdit

B'Korgen in Welenkin Cove

Little is known about B'Korgen's past, aside from his the fact that he was a Sea Sload adept in alchemy, fleshcrafting, and mind magic.[2][5][6] At some point he joined the Abyssal Cabal, collaborating with other Sea Sloads such as K'Tora, the master of mind magic, the necromancer K'Garza, and the shadow mage Z'Maja.[1][7]

In 2E 582, B'Korgen journeyed to Welenkin Cove, west of Alinor, turning it into a hazardous lair for his alchemical experiments. In addition to his efforts to empower Yaghra,[4][8] he also undertook the preparation of Abyssal Pearls for the Abyssal Geysers plaguing the Summerset Isle at that time.[9] The military of Aldmeri Dominion, in collaboration with hired mercenaries, conducted thorough research on the Sea Sload incursion. By spying on B'Korgen in Welenkin Cove, they learned that B'Korgen tended to a bed of abyssal pearls. He was infusing these pearls with alchemical mixtures and strange sigils. A cloaked Altmer, associated with the Court of Bedlam, visited B'Korgen, revealing their collaboration with the Abyssal Cabal. Their conversation hinted at a larger plan involving the destructive Abyssal Geysers, aiming to wreak havoc on Summerset and sink the island. Urgently, the military reported these findings to the Battlereeve for further action.[3]

The Divine Prosecution soon obtained information indicating that B'Korgen employed alchemy to empower the Abyssal Cabal and transform Yaghra into more formidable adversaries. The Divine Prosecution took notice, contracting mercenaries to eliminate this threat. The mercenaries received the mission of eradicating the tainted coral, a vital component in B'Korgen's alchemical experiments, and dispatching the Sea Sload to avert additional chaos on the island. Ultimately, their efforts proved successful, leading to B'Korgen's demise.[4][8]

Alternative FateEdit

The Psijic Order had the means to scry secrets from fate lines beyond the bounds of Tamriel. Among these secrets were tomes that spoke of alternative timelines and realities, where certain key events transpired differently.[10] In one of these alternate realities, the Abyssal Cabal succeeded in conquering the Summerset Isles. B'Korgen instituted a program of fleshcrafting which the Altmer were "urged" to join so their bodies could be given aquatic features and weapons in preparation for a coming invasion of mainland Tamriel, Yaghra were also taken by B'Korgen as apprentices, learning the magic of fleshcrafting for themselves.
