Belport Run is a settlement located on a small island northeast of the Summerset Isle, within the Auridon Strait, the body of water between two major islands of the Summerset Isles. It neighbored Karndar Watch, which was located across the sea from Belport Run, on the Summerset Isle.[1][2]
The island on which the settlement of Belport Run was built appeared uninhabited and unsettled as of the year 2E 582, during the Interregnum in Second Era. It was home to coral structures and a small copse.[3]
The settlement was already marked on maps during the Tiber War in 2E 864,[1] placing its foundation date between 2E 582 and 2E 864.[3][1]
By the time of the Imperial Simulacrum in the late Third Era, Belport Run was an active settlement, being ruled by Count Kalallon. It had a rivalry with West Guard, a town located in the northern parts of Auridon.[4]
