Nuzava's Anvil was a remarkable travel anvil that belonged to the legendary Orc smith, Forge-Wife Nuzava of the Morkul Clan. It was said that the anvil was adorned with intricate carvings that some suspected to be arcane runes, although Nuzava denied this claim.[1][2]
Despite her insistence that her skills were enough, rumors persisted that any smith who tried to use the anvil would suffer accidents, such as broken hammers, shattered metal, and smashed fingers. The truth behind these claims remains uncertain, but the anvil's reputation was well known among the Orcs.[1][2][3]
HistoryEdit
Because of her reputation and highly sought-after skills, Nuzava had a specially crafted travel anvil made that she could bring with her as she traveled between Orc strongholds.[1][2]
Unfortunately, during one of her travels, a tragedy occurred. Nuzava and her anvil disappeared during her journey back from a long trip abroad, and despite her message of returning home soon from the Icy Shore, she never arrived. The disappearance of Nuzava and her legendary travel anvil has since become a mysterious tale and a subject of legends among the Orcs.[1][2]
During King Kurog's reign in 2E 582, the House of Orsimer Glories was on a quest to acquire culturally significant artifacts for their museum. Among the many relics they sought was Nuzava's Anvil.[1][2] It was eventually recovered by an adventurer hired for the job, who found it in the hands of the Vosh Rakh extremists in the Icy Shore region. The anvil was safely delivered and displayed in the museum.[4]
