—Undeya[1]
Undeya was a powerful Altmer mage,[1] and a member of the Conclave of the Eleven Forces,[nb 1] the ruling council of the Psijic Order active duing the Interregnum of the Second Era.[2]
HistoryEdit
Little is known about Undeya's past before she joined the Order. She believed that the true marks of a Psijic monk are precision and artistry. Knowing a spell is not enough; one must strive to refine and perfect it. She emphasized the significance of repetition, for in all pursuits, repetition breeds confidence, and confidence leads to excellence. She held that one should never become complacent in their studies.[1]
During the Summerset crisis related to the Court of Bedlam in 2E 582, Undeya, as a member of the Conclave of the Eleven Forces, participated in a complex scrying ritual led by the Ritemaster Iachesis. They tried to learn more about the threat posed by Abyssal Pearls.[2][3]
Following the death of Ritemaster Iachesis, the remaining members of the Conclave, including Undeya, honored Iachesis's dying wish by agreeing to appoint Valsirenn as the interim Ritemaster.[4][5] This decision was made until the Conclave could come to a consensus on a more permanent and suitable candidate.[2][4]
