Quick WalkthroughEdit
- Talk to Archcanon Tholer Saryoni at the High Fane in the Vivec, Temple Canton for your duties.
- Travel to Bal Ur to visit the Statue of Molag Bal as part of the Pilgrimages of the Four Corners.
- Find the statue in the Underground and activate it to receive the poem Four Corners of the House of Troubles and the Blessings of the Third Corner.
Detailed WalkthroughEdit
DutiesEdit
Archcanon Tholer Saryoni in his quarters in the Crosier of the High Fane in the Vivec, Temple Canton tells you that the Third Corner of the House of Troubles is Molag Bal. His shrine is in Bal Ur, north of Suran on the east side of the river.
Molag Bal of the House of TroublesEdit
The shrine has two entrances and you'll want the lower to access the shrine. Like most shrines, the people here will not take kindly to your intrusion. There are several tough opponents here and combined with the lava makes it a challenge for most adventurers, so take care (Levitate definitely helps). Once you've taken care of the opposition, you can simply activate the Statue of Molag Bal to receive the Blessings of the Third Corner (Fortify Speechcraft 5 pts for 24 min) and the Command of the Third Corner spell (Command Humanoid 5-25 pts for 30 secs on Touch, cost 30 magicka); not to mention the nice loot lying around the now 'abandoned' shrine.
Return to Archcanon Saryoni in Vivec for instructions on the last Corner of the House of Troubles.
NotesEdit
- It is possible to do the Pilgrimages of the Four Corners and Mount Assarnibibi pilgrimage at any time - even if you aren't a member of the Tribunal Temple. Some of the Four Corners pilgrimages need to be done in order, and all four are required for the Mount Assarnibibi pilgrimage to get the Ebony Mail. There are no known issues with this, so if you later decide to finish the Temple you should be fine.

10 | Tholer Saryoni told me that the Third Corner of the House of Troubles is Molag Bal. I must find the statue of Molag Bal in Bal Ur and recite Vivec's "Four Corners." Bal Ur is north of Suran, but I will need to levitate over the mountains to get there easily. | |
100 | I made the Pilgrimage to Bal Ur and read a passage from the Four Corners of the House of Troubles. |
