Opens a locked door or chest. The magnitude is the level of lock that can be opened with the spell. Note that this does not disarm any traps - you will need to use a probe or Telekinesis to set off the trap from a safe distance.
NotesEdit
- Casting open as a touch or target effect will be considered a crime if witnessed.
- A 3 second 100% Chameleon spell is inexpensive and will cover you long enough to cast the spell.
- If you are crouching in third person view and cast the open spell, the effect will cast immediately before the animation finishes, as if it were being cast by an enchanted item.
