Quick WalkthroughEdit

1. Talk to Master Aryon in the Upper Tower in Tel Vos for chores.
2. Speak to Telvanni to learn who to recruit as your Mouth: Edd Theman.
3. Travel to Balmora to recruit Fast Eddie.
4. Give him a Silver Staff of Peace to convince him.
5. Return to Aryon to complete the quest.

ChoresEdit

Once you reach the rank of Spellwright, Councilor Aryon in the Upper Tower of Tel Vos will ask you to recruit a Mouth in order to be promoted to a Telvanni Wizard. Ask Aryon and he will mention a possible candidate in Balmora.

Your Future MouthEdit

Keep asking around the Telvanni to yield the name Edd Theman (also known as Fast Eddie and Eddie the Rat). Raven Omayn and Enar Releth in the Telvanni Council House in Sadrith Mora will give it to you. If you have already completed the Sixth House Base quest, you can speak with Caius Cosades in his house in northeast Balmora to learn more about Theman. He was a former Telvanni wizard who joined the Mages Guild. Edd is apparently colorful but unreliable, although he is a good source for House Telvanni gossip.

Finding Fast EddieEdit

Edd's house is a little difficult to find, since it doesn't show up on your map. It's on the west side of the river, above Itan's house (near the Eight Plates). The icon on the map will only show Itan's house. Fast Eddie will agree to serve as your Mouth in return for a Silver Staff of Peace. If you still have the one Aryon gave you, you can give that to him. Otherwise you will need to buy a new one. Return to Aryon to complete the quest and receive Aryon's Helper (a glove that summons three Atronachs). Note that after this quest Edd will move to the Telvanni Council House. You will be able to ask him to do some jobs later on.
