Bloodcrust Cavern is a small cave southeast of Skingrad containing vampires (quest-related). It contains only one zone, Bloodcrust Cavern.

NotesEdit
- This cave can be entered and fully explored before the related quest. In this case, instead of ten Bloodcrust Vampires you will only have to face five regular vampires.
- The Vampire Dust from the vampires in this cave during the related quest is not the same as regular Vampire Dust. They may look the same, but they won't stack. You can actually make a potion with all 4 effects by mixing one of each.
- This cave contains 7 Cairn Bolete plants.
ExteriorEdit
- The exterior is located at coordinates: Tamriel -14, -1
- This location's map marker (M on map) is named Bloodcrust Cavern (editor name BloodCrustMapMarker). The entrance door is WSW of the marker, 60 feet away.
- The following plants can be found near the entrance: 7 Alkanet plants, 1 Blackberry bush, 6 Flax plants, 3 Lady's Smock plants, 6 Motherwort plants, 1 Strawberry bush, and 2 Viper's Bugloss plants
Zone 1: Bloodcrust CavernEdit
The ten Bloodcrust Vampires (C) you encounter during the related quest are all about equivalent to Vampire Patriarchs/Matriarchs: their equipment is about the same, they are only leveled slightly lower. Their chances of wearing enchanted weapons and enchanted armor is also the same, although they don't have a chance of carrying potions. Therefore, be sure to come well prepared, and expect heavy fighting in narrow corridors.
The first vampire can be found at the end of the first tunnel leading down from door Out. From here head north into a room with three more vampires and two minor loot chests, before taking the southern passage to an area with another vampire, the boss chest (B; hidden behind some barrels), a minor loot chest and a bedroll (b). Continue south, past two more vampires, until you reach a smaller room with another vampire guarding a minor loot chest and a bedroll (b). Head east and after defeating the final two vampires head to the final room, where you will find a minor loot chest and two bedrolls.
If you enter before the related quest, your exploration will be considerably easier, as the number of enemies is halved to five. You will encounter a vampire in each of the following areas: down the tunnel from the entrance, in the northern rooms, in the western room and in the southeastern and southwestern rooms hosting bedrolls (b). All other loot remains the same.
