Zone 1: Smoke Hole CaveEdit

Smoke Hole Cave

This cave is a bit of a maze. It contains three zones - the initial zone, Smoke Hole Cave - and two zones which connect only to this first zone and can be accessed via doors C and D. Since this is not a linear cave, it does not matter which of these two zones you explore first.

Shortly after entering you will arrive in a large room with a stone bridge over a large pit. There are five enemies below who may detect you. You can snipe at them from here or wait for them to make their way up to your level and then meet them on the bridge, which serves as a useful bottleneck to avoid fighting them all at once. Alternatively you can also jump down into the pit, though this will likely result in health damage. You can then return to the higher level via the eastern tunnel.

Once across the bridge you will arrive at three tunnels and will have a choice to make. The central tunnel leads to a small room with 1-2 enemies and door C to Smoke Hole Brass Tomb. The other two will lead you down to another intersection; head west to reach a small room with two enemies guarding two coffins, a minor loot chest and the door (D) to Smoke Hole Boot Tomb.

Zone 2: Smoke Hole Brass TombEdit

The first room you enter hosts a minor loot chest and a three-way intersection. To the north is a small room with another minor loot chest. The path to the west hosts two more chests, the second of which (k) is a Heavy Chest containing the useless Smoke Tomb Inner Key. Press on and you will reach another room where three enemies guard a minor loot chest.

Return to the first room and now head east past two enemies and a locked minor loot chest until you reach a small room with two skeletons laid out on stone slabs and another chest. The next room's western side is actually an ancient fort wall, and you will find here two enemies guarding a second Heavy Chest (k). This one contains the Smoke Tomb Outer Key, which opens the locked door at E. Past this is a large room with three enemies (one of which boss-level, at A) guarding a central stone platform with three skeletons, each of which has a steel claymore arranged next to them, and a boss chest (B). Further to the west is a locked minor loot chest.

Zone 3: Smoke Hole Boot TombEdit

Smoke Hole Boot Tomb

When entering from door D you emerge on a ledge with some open coffins and a locked minor loot chest. The ledge itself overlooks a room with five enemies and a minor loot chest, so you can use this to your advantage for some ranged attacks. When you're ready, jump down and take the tunnel at the far northwestern corner. After battling past an enemy and looting another chest, you will arrive in a room where two enemies guard a minor loot chest. The next room hosts another chest, while the one after that hosts two more, guarded by two enemies. Continue along the corridor until you reach a hole through which you can jump down to reach door D again.
