Galdal and Balver Talking

DialogueEdit

When approached, he can be heard arguing with Galdal Alor:

Galdal Alor: "You show the dead more respect than the living. Leave my offerings to me and get your dung-smelling incense out of my face."
Balver Manas: "This is my Great Grandmother's favorite scent. See, I actually pay attention to my ancestors and don't buy whatever is popular."

Speak to him to find out what's going on:

"Can you believe her? My fellow pilgrim prioritizing anything other than her ancestor's wishes. She should care less what I bring for my family and focus more on her own paltry offerings."
What's wrong with her offerings?
"She did little more than purchase them from a merchant. There's nothing that ties her family to the offerings except an exchange of gold. If I were her ancestor, I'd feel snubbed, deprived of a connection to the lifework of my family. Forgotten even."
Maybe that's what her ancestor wants. / How do know that her ancestor doesn't want wealth?
"Honored with the trappings of wealth instead of the comfort of familial affection? Psh. Never.
What would you know about this anyway, n'wah? You're no dark elf. Don't assume you know our ways."
What are you bringing? / What are you bringing your great grandmother?
"Incense formed by the deft hands of my daughter. Fragrant bread baked by my son. Fruit picked by my wife. And the yarn I spun myself. My great grandmother's spirit will be placated with the knowledge that her family remembers her well."
You talk like your ancestors have preferences.
"They do. They speak to us and demand our respect. The walls of Necrom are filled with the spirits of the deceased.
It's an honor to make the pilgrimage there to give our gifts to those who wait beyond life."
