According to Gascone, a murder of crows stole a mysterious key from his office in the Clockwork Basilica—the same key that Clavicus Vile and the mysterious shadow cultists seek. I must find this key before the enemy does.
Quick WalkthroughEdit
- Investigate the crows.
- Get a tribute for the Black Feather Court and meet the Knight of Marrow.
- Help the Knight of Marrow woo his love.
- Meet the Duke of Crows
- Defeat the Exarchs of Dross
- Find the key.
Detailed WalkthroughEdit
NotesEdit
- The book Notes on Crow Sightings is added to the Cloisters as of this quest.
- While the Knave of Rooks refers to Drados' canteen as a "silver treasure", the quest icon for it appears as a red and gold bottle.
- While the Knight of Marrow says to follow after you agree to help, it is not actually possible to directly follow as it disappears after getting high enough into the air. The quest marker points directly to the Archivox regardless.
- The NPCs inside the Archivox won't exist before starting the quest or reaching the related objective.
- The poem you copy onto parchment cannot be read once it is in your quest items.
- While displayed as a hint needed to progress the quest, using the elevated pathway to come back to the Duke of Crows isn't mandatory.
- During the objective to listen in on the crows' negotiation, the objective name states to hide, but that isn't required.
- The Knight of Marrow doesn't have a nameplate when following it through the Incarnatorium.
BugsEdit
- The last dialogue of the scattered Exarchs of Dross cuts off abruptly right after starting. ?
- Exploring the area ahead of the Duke of Crows without speaking to it first results in the enemies exiting from the dead-end rooms to disappear briefly after the gates releasing them open. ?
- If this was performed, while redoing the path, now following the Knight of Marrow, the doors will remain opened and the enemies that were meant to appear out of them won't exist. ?
