Canonreeve Valano is a High Elf, and the administrator of Silsailen. He was preparing the town for the Queen's upcoming visit but the recent attacks by people claiming to be the First Auridon Marines have stopped all that. He is also the father of Elenwen. His town was recently attacked.

Valano fighting Auridon Marine
After you track Teldur and learn the truth—it is the canonreeve who is the traitor, you can confront Valano on the second floor of the manor. He will have donned his armor and sword and will be in the process of locking a door.
As you confront him, he'll shout:
- Canonreeve Valano: "Fool! You think you can trifle with the Veiled Heritance and live to tell the tale?"

- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Heavy Strike
- A charged heavy attack which deals moderate physical damage. You can block it to put Canonreeve Valano off-balance.
