Cat's Eye Quay is a dockyard northeast of Mistral. Recently, it was nearly completely destroyed by a hurricane. All that remains are a few despairing residents and a lot of wreckage. However, as part of a quest to foil a plot to summon another storm, Cat's Eye Quay will become populated with hostile Sea Vipers.

Cat's Eye QuayEdit

ExteriorEdit

The beach and docks at Cat's Eye Quay are initially filled with hostile Sea Vipers. The first building on the left is an abandoned tavern where you will find Onglorn and Edhelas during the related quest. The next building has been blown completely off its stilts and sticks out of the sand. The Dockmaster's Lament is inside.

Behind the Dockmaster's office is a relatively unscathed warehouse. Nistel's body can be found inside during the related quest, and a bunch of Unlabeled Notes sits in an open crate.

The ruined building on the northern end of the dock contains The Hind-Quarters Registry, while the ruin closest to the blocked mine entrance holds a trap-door to the Wind Tunnel.

After the quest is complete, the hostile Maormer are replaced with dockworkers.

Wind TunnelEdit

The entrance to the Wind Tunnel is only accessible during the related quest. Ealcil can be found just inside the entrance, and will explain the nearby Storm Totems to you, as well as how you can bypass them. The tunnels, like the docks outside, are crawling with Sea Vipers. Each of the three larger caverns has a good number of containers that can be looted for crafting ingredients, and a large tent in the western cavern contains a Roost Smuggler's Ledger.

Ritual SiteEdit

The old ritual site at the northern end of the island includes more of the Sea Vipers, and also their Giant Snakes. Spend a few minutes to harvest the Crafting Nodes around the bay here as you will not be able to get back to this location again. Cectyda, Ismenida and Acamas guard the three horns which you need to disrupt. A path to the southeast is a one-way route back to Cat's Eye Quay.
