Deadly Bash I(WITH ONE HAND WEAPON AND SHIELD EQUIPPED) Improves your standard Bash attacks, causing them to deal 250 more damage and cost 25% less Stamina.
Deadly Bash II(WITH ONE HAND WEAPON AND SHIELD EQUIPPED) Improves your standard Bash attacks, causing them to deal 500 more damage and cost 50% less Stamina.

Deadly Bash increases your damage when using a standard bash-attack, and also reduces the Stamina cost of bashing. You must have a Shield equipped to receive these bonuses.

Patch NotesEdit

  • Fixed an issue where the damage bonus coupled with a "bashing" jewelry enchant was doing too much damage. Slightly decreased this ability's stamina cost reduction.
  • Those who have spent Skill Points in the Deadly Bash passive will have those points returned to their overall skill point pool. You may place those Skill Points back in this ability if you wish, or invest them elsewhere.
  • This passive no longer adds a percent damage modifier to your Bash attacks, but instead adds 250/500 Weapon and Spell Damage to them.
  • This passive now increases the damage of your Bash attacks by 750/1500, rather than increasing the Weapon and Spell Damage of your Bash attacks by 250/500.
  • Fixed an issue where this passive could be active while not wearing a Sword and Shield, which caused your character to fail to bash properly when at low Stamina, making you appear to jitter as if you drank Tamriel’s largest cup of coffee spiked with moon sugar.
  • Deadly Bash: This passive now increases damage of your Bash Attacks by 250/500, down from 750/1500, but also reduces the cost of Bash by 25/50%, up from 20/40%.
    • Developer Comment: We're easing back the ease of access power that Bash builds have access to without making more operational costs to their builds (by making choices with sets, enchantments, or Champion Points), while giving a little bit back for them so it doesn't feel like a complete loss. We'll still be keeping a close eye on Bash builds moving forward, where they can feel like a cool niche playstyle without making them feel better at bursting people than an assassin.
