Detailed WalkthroughEdit
As you travel through Icehammer's Vault, you come across a letter written to a woman which says that a man named Uggissar and his wife and child took shelter in the delve to hunt for artifacts to sell. Later on, you'll find his wife's copy of Nine Commands of the Eight Divines, where she writes that they were attacked. She is wounded and their baby has died, and Uggissar has gone off to search for artifacts to pay off debtors. You will eventually come across another note from Uggissar, lamenting his wife and child's deaths at the hands of the draugr all because of his greed.
On the far eastern side of Icehammer's Vault, you come across the skeleton of Uggissar, still holding his diary.
- <The dead man clutches a diary. It describes a pleasant visit with a cousin Idirfa in Fort Amol before spiralling into a horrific account of how a family became trapped in Icehammer's Vault.>
- I should take the journal to his cousin in Fort Amol.
Once you take Uggissar's Diary, an apparition of Uggissar will appear to summarize the sad story.
Follow your quest marker to bring the diary to Uggissar's cousin Idirfa and ease their pain. Idirfa is waiting outside of Fort Amol near the merchant caravans for news. Speak to her to give her the diary. She sadly rewards you for your time and keeps the diary near her feet, in case you didn't read it while it was in your inventory.

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
