A Beginning at BleakrockEdit

In Bleakrock Village, he is raking near his cows. An intermediate safebox lies next to his cart of hay.

"Watch your feet. Don't want to end up with pig droppings on them shoes of yours."
You're a farmer? / Why did a farmer move to Bleakrock?
"For all the good it does. Bleakrock is snowed over six months of the year. When it isn't, the soil's poor.
We eat a lot of dairy. Aurochs can graze and eat hay from the mainland."
Why did you come here?
"The Pact offered a bounty for settlers. They wanted the garrison at the tower to have access to "civilization."
Bet you didn't know civilization smells like auroch dung, eh?"
You live on cheese and milk? / So you mainly live on dairy?
"We mainly live on fish. And that crazy Argonian likes mudcrabs.
You know what I miss? Apples. Used to get them when I was a boy in Falkreath. No more."

One of Littrek Earth-Turner's pigs continually sneaks into Denskar's yard and tries to eat his hay. Denskar repeatedly shoos him away:

Denskar Earth-Turner: "Hey! Get out of there, pig!"

"Don't know why I'm still here. Just spreading the kindling for the damn Daggers."

Sparking the FlameEdit

Denskar will be hiding in the bunkhouse when the Covenant burns down Bleakrock Village. After you put out the fire, you can enter inside to have him leave:

"The soldiers chased me in here. I thought I might burn alive!"
You can make it if you run. Hurry, get to the tomb!
"I can make it. Thank you!"

Talking to him in front of Last Rest:

"We made it. We have you to thank you that.
May Kyne guide your steps, and may Shor keep your soul."

Escape From BleakrockEdit

After you disabled the traps in Last Rest, she will be among the refugees to cross safely.

Speaking with him on the shores of Dhalmora after a successful escape, where he is teaching Littrek how to wield a blade:

"No, Littrek. Hold the blade like so.
Sorry, friend. No time to talk right now."

If By SeaEdit

He will relocate to Fort Zeren after examining the watchtower. Speaking with him at Fort Zeren, where he is now wearing armor and helping his son with his fighting form:

"Watch your form there, son. Hold the sword higher, over your heart.
And take care during battle, friend."

If you choose to help Rana at the docks, Denskar and his son will die. Alternatively, they will survive if you aid Darj at the fort. Trynhild, his daughter, will die at the docks if you choose to save the fort.

Zeren in PerilEdit

After helping Denskar and Littrek out during the invasion:

"You did well Littrek.
And you, as well, my friend. Thank you."

"After all we lost at Bleakrock, it means so much to be able to cheer.
Victory for the Pact!"

From here on out if you helped the fort, you will see Denskar and his surviving family at various locations throughout Stonefalls.

And Aera ...."

KragenmoorEdit

Denskar and his son can be found in front of the Fighters Guild at Kragenmoor. It's clear he doesn't approve of them.

"I don't trust these guild mercenaries. Littrek may think they're heroes, but I know their type.
Shor's bones! If Darj hadnt proven himself worthy, I don't know where we would be."
